Theology Uncorked

You are invited to join us for Theology Uncorked Thursday, September 19th at 8 pm, at The Oaks Wine Bar, 75 W 3rd St, Winona, MN 55987.

Father Andrew Beerman—pastor of the Catholic parishes in Blue Earth, East Chain, Fairmont, and Winnebago, MN—is our guest this month at Theology Uncorked, with his talk, “UNBOUND: Reclaiming and Living Your Freedom in Christ.” Often times there are reasons that we can become bound by evil spirits in our lives, such as anger, anxiety, hopelessness, addiction, fears, self-judgment, etc. Through prayer and application of the five keys to freedom in Christ--as outlined in the Unbound ministry--people come to experience greater joy, peace, and freedom in their souls.   ***Note that this month’s event is an hour later than usual, and also a week earlier than normal due to the Unbound Conference the following week in Fairmont, MN. More info at https://www.dowr.org/event-details/592

Religious Freedom Week

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM WEEK
JUNE 22-29

In the face of our country’s challenges, and challenges within the Church herself, Catholics find strength in the hope of Jesus Christ. We want to share that hope with everyone.

Religious freedom gives us the space to carry out the mission that Jesus has entrusted to the Church. Religious freedom means that Catholics, and all people of goodwill, are free to seek the truth and to live in accordance with that truth, and so to strengthen our common life as a nation.

Beginning June 22, the Feast of Saints Thomas More and John Fisher, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops celebrates Religious Freedom Week. In the midst of our current challenges, join us as we seek the kingdom and find Strength in Hope.
