The National Night of Prayer for Life takes place on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, Saturday, December 8 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart,360 Main Street in the Adoration Chapel. We come together before the Blessed Sacrament in adoration and reparation for the sins against the lives of the innocent and vulnerable preborn being killed in today’s society. Fr. Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, Sunday, January 20th. Since 1984, when President Ronald Reagan proclaimed the first National Sanctity of Human Life day, churches around the country have gathered on the 3rd Sunday of January to celebrate God’s gift of life, commemorate the nearly 61 million lives lost to abortion and commit themselves to protecting life at every stage. March for Life, St. Paul Capitol on Tuesday, January 22 at noon, followed by a short program 12:30 to 1:00 pm. Hosted by MCCL (MN Citizens Concerned for Life). For information, see www.mccl.org. This is preceded by the 10:30 am Annual Prayer Service for Life at The Cathedral of St. Paul, 239 Selby Ave, St. Paul, MN. Participants will walk to the capitol to join in the March for Life after the prayer service. Monthly Holy Hour of Prayer for Life, Marriage & Religious Liberty, held on the first Saturday of every month at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, Winona. This takes place from 8:30 am to 9:30 am and is preceded by the Mass for the Sanctity of Life & Marriage, (8:00am – 8:30 am). Gather in the Adoration Chapel for a beautiful Rosary and hour of prayer.
