May Cor Jesu

The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart invites you and your friends and family to attend Cor Jesu, on Friday, May 5th, 2017, from 7-9PM.  Cor Jesu is an evening of Eucharistic Adoration, Confessions, and music in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.  All are welcome to attend! The Holy Spirit, the third Person of the Trinity, will lead us to the Heart of God. This series will help you experience a deeper relationship with the Spirit. As you come to experience God’s presence, the power of the Spirit will transform you and bring you freedom. Discover the immense power and beauty of the unconditional love of God that is the Holy Spirit. 14 Sessions.

Need your VIRTUS certification? Come to the training session tonight, Tuesday, April 11 at Cathedral, Holy Family Hall at 6:30 pm.

Just a reminder that Coaches, sports staff, parent volunteers should not be with children until they are VIRTUS trained and background checked.

Lenten Cor Jesu with Bishop Quinn

You are invited to join Bishop John Quinn in celebrating Cor Jesu, our monthly evening of adoration and music in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, on Friday, April 7th.  There will be a number of priests, and the bishop, present to hear confessions through the evening.  It starts with Exposition at 7pm and concludes around 8:30pm with Benediction.  Light refreshments will be served after Benediction.  Invite your friends and family! Divine Mercy Sunday, April 23

Cathedral of the Sacred Heart will host a Divine Mercy Sunday Celebration on Sunday, April 23, 2:30–4:00pm with a video being shown at 1:00pm in the Cathedral Gathering Space. All are welcome to celebrate this special Day of Grace as promised by our Lord to St. Faustina.
*Confessions will be available throughout the Service
Reminder: The Divine Mercy Novena begins on Good Friday. Pick up a Novena at the church entrances.

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser April 9

Boy Scout Troop 11 and Cub Scout Pack 9 are hosting a pancake breakfast on Sunday, April 9, 8:00am to 12:00pm in Holy Family Hall, Cathedral. Includes pancakes, sausage, fruit and beverage. Cost: $5, kids 5 and under free.

Please join us for a teaching on the popular book “Bible Basics for Catholics,” by Dr. Bergsma. This book provides an overview of salvation history by looking at the 7 main covenants that God made with humankind. If you have ever felt confused by the Old Testament, this book is a blessing. There is no expectation that people read the book before the presentation.
