Meet Maggie OgramMaggie is a senior at Saint Mary's University from Maple Lake, MN. She is studying Religious Education and will be completing an internship in youth ministry this semester at the Cathedral and St. Casimir's parish cluster. We are excited to have Maggie working with us and our youth to get our YDisciple youth discipleship program established.
YDisciple is a program oriented toward high school aged students, focused on building community within the parish. Small groups meet twice a month and talk about the Catholic faith. They are lead by two adult mentors of the same gender. YDisciple is a dynamic program which gets youth involved in their parish, and keeps them coming back. This program also establishes a common ground between youth and adults in the parish.
Mentors and host families are needed to help us get going. If you are interested or would like more information, please email Maggie at firstname.lastname@example.org or call the parish office at 507-452-4770.
