Our Seminarian, Matt Wagner, Home For Christmas & Needs Our Help

It was great to have Matthew Wagner here at the Cathedral for Christmas and assisting at our Christmas Masses.  As you know Matthew is a seminarian in 1st theology at Sacred Heart Seminary in Detroit studying for the Diocese of Winona with Cathedral as his home parish during his years of formation. If you would like to support his vocation during this time of study in theology School, I have two opportunities for you:  The Cathedral is going to purchase his Alb that he needs for service at the altar in the ministry of Acolyte. The cost of the Alb is $320.00.

The second opportunity is the Desert Formation Experience that all first theologians at Sacred Heart Seminary attend in the Holy Land in May of 2016. The class walks in the same paths as Jesus visiting the place of his birth and his ministry. This study opportunity is guided by the faculty of Sacred Heart Seminary. The cost of this life-altering journey is $1400.00.  If you are able to contribute, please make your donation to the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and put in the check memo line, Sacred Heart Theology support. I will put in the bulletin and on our WEB Site when we reach this goal for Matthew.

Thank you for supporting Matthew’s vocation,

Msgr. Colletti
