Help Wanted: Cathedral Office

We are looking for some weekly office help for Cathedral:

  • We're looking for someone to come in on Thursday afternoons or Friday mornings to help with flyers, bulletins, and bags. The time commitment is an hour or less per week.
  • We are also looking for someone to help create baptismal sheets for the Baptism board in the Gathering Space. These are done as we have baptisms and can be done entirely at home. Time commitment is less than an hour per week.

If you are willing to help, please contact Kristin in the parish office. All volunteers must have a background check and have completed a Virtus session. We will be happy to assist you in completing these steps.

Baby Bottle Collection for Catholic Charities

Get involved in the Diocesan Respect Life Project!
The Baby Bottle Campaign is sponsored by the Diocese of Winona and the Catholic Charities' Pregnancy, Parenting, and Adoption Program.

It Begins on October 5th, 2014 (Respect Life Sunday)
Money is Collected during the month of October and sent to Catholic Charities by November 15th.

The purpose is two-fold: all the money collected is used to assist women in the Diocese of Winona to choose parenting or adoption rather than abortion; also, the campaign is raising awareness in parishes concerning the day-to-day efforts which Catholic Charities has been engaged in on behalf of women.
The Baby Bottle Campaign proves to be a perfect project for a chance to offer a real response to women choosing life over abortion.

Contact Jodi Olson by August 29th at Catholic Charities (507) 454-2270 ex. 228 or jolson@ccwinona.org to let her know that you would like to be involved! Please have an idea of how many bottles yo would like.

You + Sin + Christ = ? (Video)

"Mass" by Chris Stefanick (Video)

"Catholics have risked their lives for thousands of years to be at Mass. For mere ritual? Nostalgia? Obligation? No. For the most intimate encounter we get with our Maker on this side of eternity, and to tap into the power we need to live the life we were made for." - Chris Stefanick
