Catholicism 101: Essentials for the Journey - A DVD Study Series by Jeff Cavins

In this Year of Faith Pope Benedict XVI calls all Catholics to renew and deepen their faith.  We are called to better prepare ourselves to share our faith with others.  This is the “New Evangelization” in which we are all asked to participate.
World renowned author and Catholic theologian, Jeff Cavins, explains the basics of Catholicism in 10 dynamic 60 -minute DVD presentations. Drawing upon the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and presenting in his personal, warm, engaging and entertaining style, Jeff Cavins makes the Catholic faith come alive as he covers:
  • Conversion
  • The Bible
  • Prayer
  • The Sacraments
  • The Mass
  • Mary
  • The Papacy
  • Confession
  • The Liturgical Year
  • The Communion of Saints

The Series includes individual student workbooks, small group discussions, and DVD presentations.  The workbook provides outlines for each lecture, room for note-taking, discussion questions, and recommendations for additional reading for each lecture.
